Ami Hutchinson

(520) 882-8852

Ami Hutchinson is a passionate advocate for immigrants' rights.

Prior to law school, Ms. Hutchinson graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with a degree in African Studies. Unsure of how to combine her passion for people with an ardent desire to effect meaningful change, Ms. Hutchinson spent many months traveling the world. Along the way, she met several influential advocates who encouraged her to pursue a degree in law.

Ms. Hutchinson first gained exposure to the humbling world of immigration law through her coursework at the University of Minnesota Law School and through her work as a Student Attorney with the Law School's Center for New Americans. She has since gained experience with some of the nation's leading experts on removal defense, most notably as an Immigration Litigation Fellow with Van Der Hout LLP in San Francisco, California.

Today, Ms. Hutchinson is committed to providing top-notch legal services, from representation in custody redetermination proceedings to advocacy before the U.S. Court of Appeals. She is eager to tackle any case, and dedicated to ensuring that all humans, regardless of their nationality, are treated with dignity and respect.

Ms. Hutchinson was thrilled to join Green | Evans-Schroeder in May of 2021.
