Kathryn is a passionate and zealous advocate of non-citizens' rights, and as an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Matthew H Green, she is motivated to become an excellent litigator in deportation defense.
Kathryn received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School with an academic focus on immigration, refugee and international human rights law. During law school, Kathryn represented many immigrant children, victims of human trafficking, and refugees. She served as a student attorney for the University of Michigan Law School Human Trafficking Clinic and a law clerk for Legal Services of South Central Michigan. She has also worked as a legal researcher for the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa, and a legal intern for the Immigration Law Unit at the Legal Aid Society in New York City, New York.
Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts, with Distinction, from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science and the Arts, where she obtained a dual major in African Studies and Spanish, and a dual minor in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology. Kathryn also has extensive travel experience in southern Africa and Europe, including extended stays in South Africa and Spain. Kathryn is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the state bar of Michigan.
