Katrina Miniel

KATRINA MINIEL joined Green Evans-Schroeder on November 4, 2021 and serves as their remote Lead Paralegal based out of Houston, TX. She has 14 years of experience, exclusively, in the immigration field. Ms. Miniel joined GES to resume her career in the only legal field that has ignited her passion for serving others. She assists the attorneys in handling many complex cases in Removal Litigation/Family Based/and Naturalization. She was previously employed at Karam Immigration Law and joined on September 30, 2013, where she served as a Senior Immigration Paralegal. Katrina joined Karam Immigration Law to broaden her knowledge of immigration law. She assisted attorneys in both Family-Based, Deportation/Removal, Naturalization, and in Employment-Based and Business Visa cases. As the senior paralegal, she managed a team of 6 paralegals and implemented policies and training materials for current and onboarding paralegals.

Katrina first started her career in Immigration law while employed at Immigration Group, PLLC, from May 2011 to July 2013. During this time, Katrina discovered her passion for assisting undocumented immigrants in obtaining legal status in the U.S. and experiencing the gratitude of their appreciative families. While at the Immigration Group, she assisted attorneys with Family-Based Immigration, and Deportation/Removal cases.

She enjoys helping others navigate what she considers a broken immigration system. After business hours, Katrina enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym or for a 3-mile run.

Katrina was born and raised in Houston, TX. She is fluent in Spanish.
