Hazel was born and raised in the border town of Nogales, Arizona, by her immigrant family so immigration has always been a part of her life. Hazel has worked in different areas of the law including a debt collecting law firm and at Diane Sawayaโs personal injury firm in Denver, Colorado. ย Since starting work with Green Evans-Schroeder, Hazel has found a passion in helping clients and in supporting the legal team during the immigration process. She started off as an administrative assistant, then worked on special projects remotely, before moving into a full-time role in office in 2023. ย Most recently, as the accounting coordinator, she has been supporting clients with compassion during financial conversations, helping them navigate complex situations with clarity and understanding. Outside of work, Hazel enjoys having adventures with her daughter and son and spending time with family. She also loves to read, travel and relax with good food and great friends.
