Before joining Green Evans-Schroeder, Patricia served as the immigration attorney at a nonprofit organization, where she represented clients in a broad range of immigration matters, led a team of paralegals and an accredited representative, and developed community-based legal services for immigrant families. Her experience includes removal defense, family-based immigration matters, humanitarian relief, consular processing, Know Your Rights presentations, immigration court preparation workshops, and community-based immigration services.
Prior to law school, Patricia earned a Master of Social Work, which continues to inform her client-centered approach to advocacy. As the daughter of immigrants, she brings to her work a deep appreciation for the courage, resilience, and sacrifice that often shape immigrant families’ journeys.
Having lived in Illinois, Chiapas, Mexico, California, Wisconsin, Colorado, Switzerland, Oregon, and Arizona, Patricia values the many ways people build home, family, and community across borders. Patricia speaks Spanish and French and has studied German.
